Based in Southwest Sydney, with venues in Campbelltown, Picton and Wilton – Advantage Tennis has experienced incredible growth in our programs and is seeking a Head Coach or Senior Coach to lead the program delivery at Picton Tennis Club.
Responsibilities in this position include:
- Delivery of tennis programs
- Hot Shots & Yellow Ball lessons
- Junior Development Squads
- Junior/Adult & Group/Private Lessons
- Cardio Tennis
- School Tennis
- School holiday programs
- Maintaining a safe environment on and off the court
- Promoting other programs/events to players
- Presenting a professional appearance and attitude
- Additional responsibilities may include:
- Customer service duties in the pro-shop
- Racquet restringing
- Organising programs such as Pickleball, Social Tennis, Matchplay.
Specific responsibilities will be agreed upon based on qualifications and experience. Training and ongoing professional development included.
Working days to be Tuesday to Saturday, with the hours and remuneration negotiable based on experience.
Successful applicants must have:
- Tennis Australia Coaching Qualification (or be willing to obtain)
- Adequate experience as a tennis player or coach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Current driver’s license and own transport
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
- A current First Aid and CPR qualification
